Not just one, but two awards were given to Saudia Cargo at this year’s Air Cargo Africa event held in Johannesburg. Back from South Africa, the management announces the inauguration of a new sales representation in Dubai.
The first was as ‘International Cargo Airline of the Year 2018 in Africa’ and the other was an award as the ’International Air Cargo Marketer of the Year 2018.’
Saudia Cargo was recognised for their continued efforts in promoting innovative freight solutions, it’s wide-body and belly freighter capacity offerings as well as fostering operations and
enhancing their cargo capacity in general.

Charter chain announced
Saudia Cargo’s CEO, Omar Hariri was pleased to accept the dual award and commented that “both awards manifest our sincere commitments to provide world-class service to our distinguished and loyal
clients, it also further shows our resolve to continue improving our products and services and bring them to the next level.”
On the sidelines of Air Cargo Africa, Saudia Cargo and Air Charter Service signed a charter agreement for transporting rubber fenders for ship-docks from Dubai’s Al Maktoum Airport to Dhaka,
Bangladesh. “We look forward to a successful long-term alliance between our companies,” stated Saudia Cargo CEO Omar Hariri on the occasion.
According to their own statement, 1990 founded and UK-based ACS organizes more than 23,000 charter flights a year.

Flying its flag in Dubai
Regarding Saudia Cargo’s freight activities in Dubai, the carrier announces the inauguration of a sales office in the Free Zone of Dubai International Airport. In a release the airlines states
that the opening of the representation comes in line with their strategy to improve the logistical services and products offered to the market. The new office is considered one of the major sales
outlets for Saudia Cargo in the region due to the increased demand for Air Cargo services in Dubai. The carrier offers customers carriage of cargo in the lower decks of Saudi Arabian Airlines’
passenger fleet, operating 14 daily flights from Dubai to Jeddah, Riyadh & Dammam.
