We have always prided ourselves on giving our readers factual and up-to-date reporting on the articles we publish.
Foul play isn’t and has never been our kind of journalistic game.
This also applies to our recent article on the German AOC issue for Volga-Dnepr Group.
The topic was thoroughly researched and presented upon information given us by highly credible sources who wish to remain unnamed. This we respect and guaranteed our contact persons.
All the more reason that we were quite astonished to note that a UK-based media states that what we wrote was more or less a copy of an article in the German press. Even more annoying is that
this media did not bother to try and speak with us on our information source, but apparently feel they have to profile themselves by using such methods.
We continue to remain neutral, do not let ourselves be sponsored by others in order to gain favour and if we use information from other press sources, we then mention them as it should be.
This was definitely not the case in the above and we are proud of the results and the multiple reactions that our research brought.
The above - just for the record.
