Hong Kong-headquartered logistics provider, Tigers has opened a new office in Yangon, Myanmar, which will offer the group's full suite of logistics services, including international
freight forwarding, Customs brokerage, and supply chain solutions.
The Yangon office will offer e-commerce capabilities later in the year, thanks to Tigers’ new online marketplace, eShop.

Andrew Jillings, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Group Managing Director of Tigers, said that Myanmar has "tremendous growth potential and fits in with our strategy of focusing on emerging
markets.”
“Lying between Malaysia and China, both countries where we already have offices, it further solidifies our presence in the region,” Jillings added.

The expansion into Myanmar follows last month's signing of a new cooperation agreement with Malaysia's national postal provider Pos Malaysia to manage its e-commerce facility in Kuala
Lumpur.
Under the agreement, Tigers will manage Pos Malaysia's e-commerce fulfilment out of the Cargo Centre using Tigers' SmartHub technology and warehouse management system, and will handle business to
customer (B2C) fulfilment across Malaysia and Asia Pacific, working with Pos Malaysia's same day and express services on the final mile delivery.
As part of the agreement, Tigers will also handle the returns business throughout the region for customers, managing their online fulfilment out of the Cargo Centre.
