Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings has announced the appointment of Chung Mak as vice president sales and marketing for the U.S.-based capacity provider in the Asia Pacific region (APAC).
Mak will lead the company's sales and marketing team with responsibility for its commercial activities, customer relations and general management.
He will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Michael Steen, executive vice president and chief commercial officer.
Perkins returns to Europe
Prior to joining the company, Mak held senior management positions at Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Co Ltd and, most recently, the Seabury Group.
He succeeds Graham Perkins, who covered the APAC region for Atlas Air since 2002. Perkins has relocated to Atlas Air's European headquarters in the UK, where he is currently vice president sales
and marketing Europe/Middle East/Africa/India (EMEIA).
