Swissport International has decided to promote Nils Pries Knudsen to Executive Vice President Global Cargo Services.
Nils takes this step up the ladder from his present position as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Cargo Services.

Swissport International Ltd., which maintains to be the world’s leading provider of ground and cargo handling services to the aviation industry, today (12 March) announced Nils promotion which
will take place with immediate effect. He will continue to directly report to Per H. Utnegaard, Group President & CEO Swissport International.
Nils Pries Knudsen joined Swissport International in January 2009 and according to Swissport’s management has since been instrumental in taking the Cargo Division forward to become a global
leader. With this appointment Nils will also become a member of Swissport International’s Group Executive Management (GEM).
With 4.1 million tonnes of air cargo being handled per year, the Cargo division is the second largest service besides Ground Handling within the Swissport group.

Annual operating revenues within the Swissport Group have in the meantime reached CHF 3.0 billion.
The Zurich-based airport ground handling company is said to have more than 700 aviation related clients in their portfolio and apart from handling over 4 million tonnes of cargo they also provide
ramp, passenger and other services worldwide.
Swissport’s workforce has grown from year to year and presently more than 58.000 staff are on their payroll at over 265 stations located in 45 countries across the world.
