Arnaud Lambert has been named CEO of Luxembourg-based Champ Cargosystems, a global IT provider to the air cargo industry. Lambert was previously a member of Champ's executive committee, and the company’s vice-president of global service delivery.

With 15 years of air cargo industry experience, Lambert has also held management positions with Cargolux and Procter & Gamble. In his new role with Champ, Lambert says he aims to build on its already strong market presence worldwide. The company serves over 200 airlines and GSAs, and links these with some 3,000 forwarders and GHAs across the globe.

He is replacing John Johnston who will leave as the global supply chain communication manager, as exclusively announced by CargoForwarder Global on December 17, 2014. Until today, Champ
officially did not announce his resignation nor is Johnston mentioned with a single word in the company’s latest press release.
This communication policy is absolutely intolerable, commented a manager close to the scene. After all, under Johnston’s 10 year leadership CHAMP has become the world’s leading IT service
provider for the global cargo industry.
