Cargo Service Center India was honored with the coveted Cargo Ground Handler of the Year (Region India) award at the International Awards for Excellence, organized by India’s STAT TIMES during this year’s Air Cargo India Conference.

The International Awards for Excellence are instituted in various sectors of the air cargo industry. The recipients of the awards were nominated and voted for by the worldwide readers of STAT TIMES, an international multi-modal transport trade media which specializes in air cargo reporting on the Indian market and has been awarding excellence in the air cargo industry for the past 26 years.
The voting was run via an online poll which ran from 1. - 31. January, 2014.

Speaking on the occasion CSC Group CEO Radharamanan Panicker stated: “we are extremely proud to have been conferred with this prestigious award in the presence of global industry professionals and at such an august ceremony.”
He went on to say that, “it is the confidence of our partners - both airlines and freight forwarders in our capability to exceed expectations that has made us the winner. Their vote is a testament to our commitment to customer service excellence. Without their continued support, this would not have been possible.”
In closing he further stated, “the CSC Group recently surpassed the India Rs 1,000 million turnover and this milestone along with this award has been a terrific start to the new year and although the air cargo industry continues to be in a turbulent state, we hope that the fiscal year 2014/2015 will bring cheer to the industry.”
